Dress for Success is an global non-profit organization that seeks to empower women in the professional world. Dress for Success Austin helps Central Texas women find meaningful employment, provides professional clothing and image consultations, and holds career counseling for women in all stages of life.
As the social media intern, I was responsible for creating the visual content posted on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Youtube. DFSA’s social media channels’ main purpose was to inform the community of their services, so I designed announcements and infographics that communicated information quickly and easily. The brand guidelines were strict in terms of colors and typefaces. To avoid monotony while adhering to brand guidelines, I played with the typography by curving the text and layering different color headlines.
